Victorian 2 skirting board is one of the many perfect profiles for a Victorian or period home style. Victorian décor is known for its intricate, elaborate detailing and carvings with a high focus on asymmetry. This period was considered a very glamorous and luxurious time in Britain and was one of the most popular design movements. If your home was built between 1837 and 1901, or if you are hoping to achieve the Victorian look, this is a great option for you. 

The profile shape is 68mm in height. Please note this shape does not change and will remain the same height for all Skirting UK height options.

Victorian 2 Skirting Dimensions & Specifications:

• Height  – Available in 12 different standard heights ranging from 85mm – 350mm. Please note if you require a different height we can custom-make your recommendations.
• Depth – Victorian 2 skirting can be made in either 18mm or 25mm thicknesses.
• Length – Choose to have your skirting 3050mm or 4200mm long.

Pre-painted Finish Options

• Unprimed – Raw MDF board only. Please note you will need a primer coat before any finish coat is applied.
• Primed – Two coats of primer are applied.
• Eggshell – Two coats of primer are applied and then one coat of eggshell leaving a sleek matte finish.
• Satin – Two coats of primer are applied and then one coat of satin leaving a sleek smooth shimmer finish.
• Gloss – Two coats of primer are applied and then one coat of gloss leaving a quality soft-shine finish.

Hide Unsightly Pipes & Cables with a Rebate

We will machine-cut a section from the back of your skirting board to hide any unsightly cables or pipes. Please contact us if you require a different rebate size, and we will let you know whether this is possible.

• Cable Rebate:
  18mm Skirting = 12mm x 40mm Rebate
  25mm Skirting = 19mm x 40mm Rebate
• Pipe Rebate:
  18mm Skirting = 12mm x 60mm Rebate
  25mm Skirting = 19mm x 60mm Rebate

Free Skirting Board Sample

The Victorian 2 skirting sample is made in the standard size of 120mm x 18mm x 95mm. These samples are sprayed with white primer & also coated in our white eggshell finish. Samples are posted out to you within 1 – 2 working days, via Royal Mail 1st class shipping. Your first two samples are completely free of charge! If you would like additional samples, a delivery fee will be calculated at the checkout.
