From a period with Italian design influences that were often proportionate and symmetrical, the colonial design is an elegant one with elements of rococo, neoclassicism, and oriental influences. The Colonial skirting board is one of the many perfect profiles for a Georgian-style home. Please note this shape (50mm) does not change and will remain the same height on all Skirting UK height options.

| UNPRIMED | Raw MDF board only. Please note you will need a primer coat before any finish coat is applied. |
| PRIMED | Two coats of primer are applied and sanded down after each coat. |
| GLOSS | Two coats of primer are applied and then one coat of gloss leaves a quality shiny finish. |
| EGGSHELL | Two coats of primer are applied and then one coat of eggshell leaving a sleek matte finish. |
| SATIN | Two coats of primer are applied and then one coat of satin leaving a sleek smooth shimmer finish. |
Hide Pipes & Cables with a RebateWe will machine-cut a section from the back of your skirting board to house any unsightly cables or pipes. Please note if you require a bigger rebate we can custom-make your recommendations. |

Colonial Skirting Board Sample
Our free skirting board samples are available in one standard size of 120mm x 18mm x 95mm. This height and depth are the most commonly ordered dimensions in the UK. Samples are also spray-painted in our oil-based white primer, giving you a look into what to expect from your full order. All sample orders are picked and packaged in our Birmingham warehouse and are posted to you within 1 – 2 working days. We use the trusted 1st Class Royal Mail for all our sample orders.
Custom Made Samples
Bespoke samples are a great way to find out if a particular skirting or architrave height will work in your home, before placing a full order with us. If you would like to see a sample of the exact skirting or architrave height, thickness and paint finish, there is a nominal charge of £7.50 (Ex VAT) each sample will be made individually by our professional production team.
