Antique Skirting Board – Period Style Mouldings

Antique skirting board is one of the many perfect profiles for a Victorian or period home style. Victorian décor is known for its intricate, elaborate detailing and carvings with a high focus on curved symmetry to introduce some classic style into your home. This period was considered a very glamorous and luxurious time in Britain and was one of the most popular design movements. If your home was built between 1837 and 1901, or if you are hoping to achieve the Victorian look, this is a great option for you. If you have tall ceilings typical of this period, why not match them with tall Antique skirting to really make a statement? The Antique 1 profile height is 55mm. Please note this shape does not change and will remain the same height on all Skirting UK height options.

Height: Antique skirting is available in 12 different standard heights ranging from 70mm – 400mm. Please note if you require a different height we can custom-make it to meet your recommendations.
Depth: Available in 18mm and 25mm depths.
Length: Available in 3050mm and 4200mm lengths

Paint Finishes
Unprimed: Raw MDF board only. Please note you will need a primer coat before any finish coat is applied.
Primed: Two coats of primer are applied.

Rebate:
We will machine-cut a section from the back of your skirting board to house any unsightly cables or pipes. Please note if you require a different height we can custom-make your recommendations.
CABLE- 18mm depth = 12mm x 40mm OR 25mm depth = 19mm x 40mm
PIPE- 18mm depth = 12mm x 60mm OR 25mm depth = 19mm x 60mm

Antique Skirting Sample

Our skirting board samples are available in one standard size 120mm x 18mm x 95mm and are posted out to you within 1 – 2 working days via Royal Mail.

Custom-Made Samples:

Before placing a full order with us, bespoke samples are a great way to find out if a particular skirting or architrave height will work in your home. If you would like to see a sample of the exact skirting or architrave height there is a nominal charge of £9.00 (Inc VAT). Each sample will be made individually by our professional production team.
