Antique 3 Dado Rail is part of the period collection. It was inspired by the French style which became popular during the Victorian era, associated mainly with intricate, elaborate detailing adding a romantic feel to a room.

Can I Order Painted Antique 3 Dado Rail?

Yes, you can order your products already painted! Skirting UK offers a variety of painting services. You can choose to either order your products with us unprimed, and you can complete all the priming, sanding, and painting yourself. Alternatively, you can save plenty of time and hassle and take advantage of the painting services we offer.

• Unprimed – Supplied as the Raw MDF board. We will cut, and mould your products, but no paint or paint prep will be applied, so please be aware, that due to the density of MDF, you will need to apply a primer coat before any finish coat is applied.
• Primed – We hand spray 2 layers of White oil-based primer to the products, sanded down between coats.
• Eggshell (15%) – Two coats of white primer are applied, and then one top coat of white Eggshell, paint creates a sleek matte finish.
• Satin (40%) – Two coats of white primer are applied and then one top coat of white Satin paint, creates a smooth velvety finish.
• Gloss (70%) – Two coats of white primer are applied and then one top coat of white Gloss paint, creates a quality soft shine finish.

The colour of our paint is a British Standard BS4800 00E55 white. We use an oil-based paint.
