The Square Edge Architrave Sets is our Most simplistic profile at Skirting UK. The profile shape is flat. Great trade option, as it is super easy to work with.
Single Door set: 2 x 2440mm Lengths & 1 x 1220mm Length, to surround a single-width door frame.
Double Door Set: 3 x 2440mm Lengths to surround one double-width door frame.

Square Edge Architrave Set Dimension Breakdown:

Width:

The set widths we have for this product are 50mm, 70mm or 95mm. If you would prefer a size in between these, such as 80mm, simply choose 95mm, and ask for this to be cut down to size in the delivery notes at the checkout. If you would like your width to be larger such as 110mm, please contact us by email: enquires@skirtinguk.com

Depth:

The depth refers to how thick your architrave will be. This product can be made on either 15mm, 18mm or 25mm. This size can not be modified.

Sets:

One set covers ONE side of a doorway. Therefore, if you are covering both sides of a door, inside and outside, you will need to order TWO sets.

Single Door Sets

A ‘Single Door Set’ refers to a doorway with one singular door at the opening. If your doorway is wider than 1220mm, then you would need to order a ‘Double Door Set’.

1 Single Door Set contains 2 lengths of 2440mm (the legs) and 1 length of 1220mm (the head). Totalling 6.1metres.
When ordering multiple sets, the heads may be supplied as 2440mm that will need to be cut in half.
For instance, 2 single door sets, will be supplied as 5 x 2440mm.

Double Door Sets

1 Double Door Set contains 3 lengths of 2440mm. Totalling 7.3metres.

Order Your Architrave Painted

At Skirting UK, we offer painting services. You can choose to either order your architrave unprimed, and you can complete all the priming, sanding, and painting yourself, or we can do that for you!

Unprimed:

Raw MDF board only. Please note you will need a primer coat before any finish coat is applied.

Primed:

Two coats of white primer are applied.

Eggshell (15%):

Two coats of white primer are applied, and then one top coat of white Eggshell, leaving a sleek matte finish.

Satin (40%): 

Two coats of white primer are applied and then one top coat of white Satin leaving a smooth velvety finish.

Gloss (70%):

Two coats of white primer are applied and then one top coat of white Gloss leaving a quality soft shine finish.

Matching Skirting Board

Did you know you can order this exact profile in Skirting Boards and Dado Rail too? We use a tool that moulds the profile into the MDF, meaning you can create a seamless finish across your whole project. Having Square Edge Architrave joined up to your Square Edge Skirting Board, will create a clean, crisp feel to your room.
